This course describes the architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in a small network. Students learn how to configure a router and a switch for basic functionality. By the end of this course, students will be able to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches and resolve common issues with RIPv1, RIPng, single-area and multi-area OSPF, virtual LANs, and inter-VLAN routing in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks. This course introduces the architecture, structure, functions, components, and models of the Internet and other computer networks.
Addition of stochastic noise to the particle trajectories in the non-eddying OGCM parameterises the effect of eddies well in some cases (e.g. in the North Pacific gyre). The effect of a coarser temporal resolution is smaller compared to a coarser spatial resolution (0.1° versus 1° horizontally). We recommend to use sinking Lagrangian particles, representing e.g. marine snow, microplankton or sinking plastic, only with velocity fields from eddying Eulerian OGCMs, requiring high-resolution models in e.g. paleoceanographic studies. To increase the accessibility of our particle trace simulations, we launch planktondrift.science.uu.nl, an online tool to reconstruct the surface origin of sedimentary particles in a specific location. The southward flow of North Atlantic Deep Water makes up the major component of the deepwater limb of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation .

The role of the family, culture, community and society and the impact on development is also explored. This course presents a unique and realistic approach to the fundamentals of teaching as a career. Not only are the rewards of teaching established and explored, but also the challenges educators face in the classroom. The course also introduces students to the larger topics of education, including discipline, history, philosophy, learning theories, teaching techniques, assessment, classroom management and diversity. Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of safety and sanitation skills. Students study, prepare, serve, and evaluate traditional cuisines of Pacific and Asian countries.

Furthermore, we show that a natural extension of our algorithm leads to a coherent mode decomposition , a counterpart to dynamic mode decomposition . Floating plastic debris is an increasing source of pollution in the world’s oceans. Numerical simulations using models of ocean currents give insight into the transport and distribution of microplastics in the oceans, but most simulations do not account for the oscillating flow caused by global barotropic tides. Here, we investigate the influence of barotropic tidal currents on the transport and accumulation of floating microplastics, by numerically simulating the advection of virtual plastic particles released all over the world’s oceans and tracking these for 13 years. We use geostrophic and surface Ekman currents from GlobCurrent and the currents caused by the four main tidal constituents from the FES model. We analyze the differences between the simulations with and without the barotropic tidal currents included, focusing on the open ocean.
Within any tightly coupled system, this is easy to manage between I-streams via the use of the Record Hold Table. However, when the lock is obtained offboard of the TPF processor in the DASD control unit, an external process must be used. Historically, the record locking was accomplished in the DASD control unit via an RPQ known as LLF and later ELLF . To run, clustered z/TPF requires either MPLF in all disk control units or an alternative locking device called a Coupling Facility. The distribution of marine species is often modeled using Eulerian approaches, in which changes to population density or abundance are calculated at fixed locations in space.

Discuss specific textual evidence that support analysis of the development of the universe and the solar system. This course will focus on knowledge and understanding of life and physical science. This course applies work ethic principles as essential “soft skills” to succeed in career and technical fields of practice. Students will learn to incorporate human relations topics with work ethic training. The course is designed to include an eight hour work ethic training component; thus, preparing eligible students who choose to take and pass a proficiency exam to earn a “Certificate of Work Ethic Proficiency” from the Center for Work Ethic Development.
It is appropriate for anyone seeking broader understanding of the relationships among the local, state, and federal governments. The primary intent of this course is to investigate the entire realm of engineering, its history, professional requirements, ethics, educational requirements, branches, functions and the roles of the engineering technician. This course will prepare students through the integration of technical problem solving, engineering design, ethical issues, teamwork, and communicating to diverse audiences. This course provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills while working in an office environment. This course introduces the basic principles of a records and information management program. Four filing systems will be emphasized using both manual and electronic methods for storage and retrieval of records.
This course incorporates the College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education. Relevant individualized instruction provides reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to enable students to become empowered, competent, critical, and reflective in their communication. This course is the second of two modules of EMT Intermediate for EMTs who wish to increase their knowledge and deliver a more sophisticated level of emergency medical care in the Advanced Life Support area. The course is designed for ambulance service members and others who wish to be trained to this advance level of EMT. Demonstrate knowledge and skills needed of an EMT at an intermediate level.

This course is designed to serve students in the Career Technical Programs. This course will be part of the Medical Assistant Program core curriculum. Material covered includes the structure and function of the human body. Basic chemistry and cell structures are covered, as well as the organization of tissues, organs, and organ systems. Correlations can then be made between this material and disease states commonly encountered in the practice of these fields. This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to provide Basic First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation with an automated external defibrillator .
Thus, the challenge of catering suitable speed and power for the operation might hinder the market growth. The technology is helping the countries by offering a battlefield like environment to train the soldiers. For instance, the Republic of Korea embraces virtual reality technology to train soldiers. Thus, technology is likely to gain vast opportunities with the development of the defense industry. Also, the healthcare industry is utilizing virtual training solutions across its services. Training helps the healthcare providers in improving the operating accuracy with zero error.

This is a major release that introduces significant new features compared to the last 4.x version, for example the Canvas API , OpenSceneGraph-based 3D graphics support, improved logging, a new Qt-based runtime environment that will eventually replace Tkenv, and much more. Work experience should be in a drafting design-engineering environment, utilizing electro-mechanical design skills involving Aerospace and Industrial Manufacturing. Provides assistance to students involved in the engineering, manufacturing and 360 degree tours rapid prototyping programs in the various laboratories. Provides support, assistance and training to engineering and manufacturing company as well as the District’s engineering and manufacturing staff. Interface with CACT technicians, to demonstrate the advantage of Rapid Prototyping to engineering and manufacturing organizations. The HydroJet furnace water cleaning system is a rugged and reliable tool to clean any furnace surface within its line of sight from a mounting location up to 100 ft (30.5 m) away.
